Thank you for choosing Up Make. We aim to provide you with the best service experience by securing our team and resources in advance. Please read the following cancellation policy carefully. By completing an online booking with a deposit, you accept and agree to these terms.
We also understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or re-schedule unexpectedly, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 0411 077 844. While our standard policies apply, we do review genuine circumstances on a case by case basis and will always do our best to assist where we can.
1. Deposit and Booking Confirmation
1.1 Each online booking requires a non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total service fee (“Deposit”).
1.2 Your booking is confirmed once the Deposit has been paid and you receive confirmation from Up Make.
2. Cancellation by You (Client)
2.1 Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time
- If you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment, the Deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
- If you prefer to reschedule instead of cancelling, and you notify us more than 48 hours in advance, the Deposit will be carried over to the rescheduled appointment at no additional cost.
2.2 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time
- If you cancel or fail to attend your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, the Deposit will be forfeited entirely.
- No rescheduling option is available once the 48-hour window has passed without timely notice.
2.3 No-Shows
- If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, you will be charged the full amount of the booking.
- By confirming your appointment, you authorise Up Make to process this charge using the payment method provided at the time of booking.
3. Rescheduling
3.1 To reschedule, you must contact us at least 48 hours prior to your original appointment time.
3.2 If the reschedule request is made more than 48 hours in advance, your Deposit will be applied to the new appointment date and time.
3.3 Reschedule requests made within 48 hours of the appointment will be treated as cancellations under section 2.2, and the Deposit will be forfeited.
4. Refunds
4.1 The Deposit is non-refundable except as otherwise required by law.
4.2 Where the Deposit is carried over to a rescheduled appointment, it will be applied toward your new booking and will form part of that agreement.
5. Changes by Up Make
5.1 In the unlikely event that Up Make needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative appointment time.
5.2 If we cannot agree on a suitable alternative, you will receive a full refund of your Deposit.
6. General Provisions
6.1 This policy forms part of our booking contract and applies in addition to any other terms and conditions of Up Make.
6.2 Up Make reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time. The most current version will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
6.3 If any provision of this policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
6.4 This policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
